Alumni Meet of MCU on October 15 

Baldev Bhai Sharma, Radheshyam Sharma and Rajesh Badal to be guests 

Bhopal, 13 October, 2016. Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication is organising Alumni Meet on the occasion of its silver jubilee year. The meet will be held at Ravindra Bhavan on October 15. Senior journalist and chairman of National Book Trust Baldev Bhai Sharma will be chief guest of the inaugural session of the meet. Founder director general and senior journalist Radheshyam Sharma will be special guest on the occasion. Executive director of Rajya Sabha TV Rajesh Badal will be key speaker. University Vice-Chancellor Prof Brij Kishore Kuthiala will chair the function.

Ex-students will share their success story on the occasion. The meet will begin at 11 am. The registration will start at 10.30 am. In the evening at 6, a unique presentation will be made by the country's first Sanskrit band 'Dhruva'.

It has been glorious journey of the Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication and it has achieved new dimensions of progress in last 25 years. The university is meeting the need of skilled communicators in the era of communication. Its alumni are working at prominent places in media and communication institutes across the country. Success of students reflects the development of the university itself. The university has decided to hold alumni meet on the occasion of silver jubilee year.

Open session discussion and group sessions will be held after the inaugural function for providing opportunity to students to interact with each other. Students from the batches 1991 to 2016 are coming from different places of the country to attend the meet and have got registered through online process.

'Rajat Path' to be released: The University has prepared 'Rajat Path' a book containing experiences and memories of previous students. It will be released in the meet.

Enthralling presentation by Sanskrit Band:  Cultural programme will be organised at Muktakash Manch of Ravindra Bhavan at 6 pm. Sanskrit band 'Dhruva' will be the main attraction of the programme. The band is unique of its kind. Prominent persons of the city will present on the occasion.
