Alumni meet in national capital on December 17

Meet to be held on the occasion of silver jubilee year of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication

Bhopal, 15 December, 2016: Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication is going to organise Alumni Meet in the national capital New Delhi in its silver jubilee year. The meet will be held on December 17 at Constitution Club. Senior journalist and former vice-chancellor of the university Achyutanand Mishra will be the chief guest of function. University Vice-chancellor Prof Brij Kishore Kuthiala will chair the programme. The meet will begin at 11 am. Ex-students of the university will share their story of success, in the programme, apart from address by guests. University alumni can get registered online for participating in the meet. They can register themselves on the spot at the venue.

The university journey has been progressive in the last 25 years and it received new dimensions of progress. In the era of communication, the university is meeting the demand of skilled communicators. Its ex-students are working on key positions in prominent media and communication institutes and organisations in the country. Besides, many of them are working at prominent positions in different journalism organisations, corporate houses and major IT companies in Delhi. The success of ex-students itself is reflection of the university progress. The university has decided to provide opportunity to ex-students to gather at a platform on the occasion of silver jubilee year. Open session, discussion and group sessions will be held after inaugural function, to provide platform to students for interaction and share their views. Alumni have got registered for participation in the meet. Students from 1991 to 2016 batches will take part in the programme.

'Rajat Prasang' to be released: A book 'Rajat Prasang' containing experiences and memories of students, has been prepared. It will be released in the Alumni Meet.
