Two-day seminar on 'Indian Perspective of Advertising and Public Relations' at Journalism University from today 

Programme of Department of Advertising and Public Relations in MCU 

Bhopal, 15th November, 2017. Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University, Bhopal has organised a two-day national seminar on 'Indian Perspective of Advertising and Public Relations'. University Vice Chancellor Prof Brij Kishore Kuthiala will inaugurate the seminar on Thursday at 11 am. Member secretary of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Shri Sachchidanand Joshi will be chief guest of the inaugural function. 

Subject experts will address students on advertising, public relations, e-commerce, digital communication and different subjects of media in the eight sessions of the seminar, organised by Department of Advertising and Public Relations. Officer of corporate communication of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, a unit of Department of Atomic Energy will present specially in the seminar. Senior manager, corporate communication of NPCIL Shri Amritesh Shrivastava will apprise the students of different dimensions of public  relations along with prospects of nuclear energy in India. Shri Umed Yadav of NPCIL put views on radiation and media awareness. 

In technical session, Shri Pradip Karmbelkar will deliver lecture on 'prospects of e-commerce in India'. Former general manager of BHEL, Bhopal, Shri CK Sardana will inform students about different case studies of Indian Public Relations. On second day of the seminar, advertising expert Shri Diwakar Shukla will address session on 'Indianness in Advertising'. In other session, officers of Paytm will deliver address on digital communication and transaction activities. Students and teachers of Department of Advertising and Public Relations will participate in the seminar.
