National Colloquium on Indian Knowledge-Traditions 'Gyan Sangam' from today

 Two-day programme of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication; Higher Education Minister Shri Jaybhan Singh Pavaiyya, Padmashree Dr Narendra Kohli, Shri J Nandkumar to inaugurate

Bhopal, 06th December, 2017: The two-day national colloquium 'Gyan Sangam', focused on Indian Knowledge Traditions and Indian Perspective will be held by Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication. Around 250 teachers of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will take part in it and they will discuss Indian perspective, research, philosophy and principles of scholars of ancient and modern India for inclusion in their subjects. Higher Education Minister Shri Jaybhan Singh Pavaiyya, renowned litterateur Padmashree Dr Narendra Kohli, thinker Shri J Nandkumar and University Vice-Chancellor Prof Brij Kishore Kuthiala will inaugurate it on December 7 at 11 am. The programme will be held at Golden Jubilee Auditorium of RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management.

Discussion will be held on 'Indian Life Perspective: Interpretation in Present Context' in the national colloquium. National convener of Pragya Pravah, Shri J Nandkumar will deliver key note address in the inauguration of the programme on December 7. After this, noted educationist Sushri Indumati Katdare will address session on 'Indian Perspective of Sanskara, Knowledge and Academics'. Chairman of National Book Trust, Shri Baldev Bhai Sharma will chair the session. Swami Dharmabandhu will deliver key note address on 'Indian Perspective of Wellbeing and Happiness' in the third session. Shri Jitendra Bajaj will chair this session. Famous scientist Shri Jayant Sahastrabuddhe will address session on 'Science in Indian Life' and Prof Shivendra Kashyap will chair it. In the fourth session, national organizational secretary of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal Shri Mukul Kanitkar will deliver key note address on 'Indian Perspective for New Knowledge Creation' and Dr Navin Chandra will chair the session.

On the second day of the 'Gyan Sangam', Vice-Chancellor Prof Brij Kishore Kuthiala will deliver key note address on 'Indian Perspective of Social Dialogue (Sanvad Ka Swaraj)'. Senior journalist Shri Umesh Upadhyay will be the special invitee in the session and senior litterateur Shri Kailash Chandra Pant will chair it. Prof Deenbandhu Pandey will give key note speech on 'Indian perspective of Art and Entertainment' and litterateur Dr Narendra Kohli will chair the session. Prof Bhagwati Prasad Sharma will give key note address on 'Indian Perspective of Harmony and Coordination in the Nature' and thinker Dr Krishna Gopal will chair the session. Besides, Shri Arun Moli will address on 'Healthy Life' and Shri Baltej Singh Maan will deliver lecture on 'collection of wealth', and litterateur Shri Manoj Shrivastava will address on 'Polity' under theme of Indianness in different trades. National organizational secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Shri Shridhar Paradkar will chair the session. The programme is being organised in collaboration with Pragya Pravah, active in intellectual and education sector, and Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal.

The valedictory function will be held on December 8 at 5.30 pm in the auditorium. Noted ideologist and thinker Dr Krishna Gopal will be the key speaker of the function. Public Relations and Water Resources Minister Dr Narottam Mishra will be the special invitee in the programme.
